Samsung captured a 22.7% market share in OLED TVs by selling 1.01 million units, challenging its main rival LG after years of dominance in the segment. According to FlatPanelsHD, Samsung has maintained its position as a leader in the overall TV market for the 18th year in a row, with a 30.1% share.
Samsung is making progress in the OLED TV market in 2023.

Samsung’s emphasis on premium and large screen TVs, particularly QLED and OLED models, led to a significant increase in TV sales, with QLED TV sales reaching 8.31 million units in 2023.
Samsung offers various TV models with Quantum Dot technology, including OLED TVs. In 2023, Samsung sold 1.01 million OLED TVs, accounting for 22.7% of the organic light-emitting diode display TV market. The sales included QD-OLED TVs ranging from 55 to 77 inches and some larger WOLED models.
Samsung expects its presence in the OLED TV market to grow by 2024, with plans to launch new OLED TV models this year, including 42 and 48-inch versions using LG WOLED displays, and an 83-inch model with an LG panel.

LG still has a significant presence in the television market.
LG Electronics remains the top player in the OLED TVs market, securing a 53% share in 2023 for the 11th year in a row.
