Margot Robbie is reportedly involved in the upcoming movie adaptation of “The Sims,” following her success with the Barbie film.

Director Kate Herron, who is well-known for her work on “Loki”, has been chosen to head the project and will also be co-writing the adaptation with Briony Redman. Herron and Redman previously worked together on an episode of Doctor Who, and Herron is set to direct an episode in the second season of The Last of Us.
LuckyChap, a producer known for the success of Barbie, is also leading the production of “Saltburn” for Prime Video. Despite being in the early stages, the involvement of these names hints at a high-quality production.
“The Sims” is a game series that began with SimCity in 1989 and continues to be a highly popular franchise. The upcoming fifth installment is expected to launch soon, with information about its PC and Android versions recently revealed. The fourth game in the series was a huge success, making over $40 million in monthly profits, according to a 2021 survey by NetBet.
